Every homeowner is an automatic member of the HOA and shares a portion of the responsibility for its support. The assessment is determined on an annual basis by the Board of Directors and may not be increased more than 10% per year without a vote of the quorum of HOA members. Stonecrest residents are also mandatory members of the Pool and Recreation (REC)and Property owners Association (POA).
The common properties and facilities include, but are not limited to, public rights of way or easements, walls, safety lanes, green belt landscaping, sprinkler systems, and improvements.
The Stonecrest at Lookout Canyon Home Owners Association is a non profit organization. The Association owns and maintains the common properties and facilities.
Stonecrest at Lookout Canyon is a gated community in San Antonio. The community is governed by its homeowners. The Board of Directors of the Homeowners Association (HOA) would like to welcome you to our Community. Please visit our various website pages for information about our community.

Subject: Recent Thefts and Suspicious Activity

Neighbors,

There have been a string of recent car break in's and thefts reported in our neighborhood, both actual and attempted. One resident even had UPS packages stolen from her front porch with a child's birthday gifts! On several occasions recently, there's been men just sitting in parked cars... they may have been casing homes because when one of our neighbors went into our yards and looked at them they took off! One neighbor even chased down one guy in his car as he was on the phone with police!!

Most recent (and scariest!!) just last week around 2am one neighbor was up late and someone tried to open the door!  We don't wish to sound alarmist, but please be on the lookout. Let's be our own neighborhood watch! 

Please call the police (see our useful phone numbers page) should you notice anything or anyone out of the ordinary.

Make sure you keep your car doors and homes locked at all times, and put on those alarms if you've got them! Lastly, please pass along this info to those neighbors that are not on this email list.
