Every homeowner is an automatic member of the HOA and shares a portion of the responsibility for its support. The assessment is determined on an annual basis by the Board of Directors and may not be increased more than 10% per year without a vote of the quorum of HOA members. Stonecrest residents are also mandatory members of the Pool and Recreation (REC)and Property owners Association (POA).
The common properties and facilities include, but are not limited to, public rights of way or easements, walls, safety lanes, green belt landscaping, sprinkler systems, and improvements.
The Stonecrest at Lookout Canyon Home Owners Association is a non profit organization. The Association owns and maintains the common properties and facilities.
Stonecrest at Lookout Canyon is a gated community in San Antonio. The community is governed by its homeowners. The Board of Directors of the Homeowners Association (HOA) would like to welcome you to our Community. Please visit our various website pages for information about our community.

ALERT! Vehicle Break-ins

On Wednesday night our neighborhood was hit (again!) by thieves entering our vehicles.

Things to take action on are:

  1. LOCK your vehicles each night.
  2. Report any break-in to Bexar County Sheriff's Office 210-335-6000, even if nothing is taken as all the information the police receive helps to build a better picture.
  3. Be watchful of strangers.

Specifically:

  1. Look out for a maroon Honda Civic with loud muffler pipes and get a license plate #.  The police have reason to believe such a vehicle is involved.  These are not kids, but professionals.
  2. Report to Detective Anthony Gonzales #3094 at Bexar County Sheriff's Office (210) 335-6174 if you get a license plate for the Honda Civic, or any other relevant information.

BEXARMET LATEST

Latest on Proposed Rate Increase

On Thursday, July 22 a new workshop was scheduled to update the Board on the "tweaking" of the rate proposals.  Only one of the rate consultants was present and the "tweaking" consists of reducing the proposed 9% rate increase to 7%.  We were told that this was done in response to comments at the Public Hearings.

For those who attended the Public Hearings, you will recall that the issues raised by those who spoke focused on the need for specific details to justify a rate increase at this time.  No one asked for the increase to be reduced.  There were complaints about the System Improvement Fee (now relabeled Water Supply Fee) being too high and commercial rates being lower than residential rates.
